Channel-Port aux Basques RCMP seeking public’s help locating stolen vehicle
RCMP in Channel-Port aux Basques is investigating a complaint of a stolen vehicle and appealing to the public for any relevant information.
On Saturday afternoon, officers responded to a report of a pickup truck stolen outside of a residence in the Codroy Valley area. It was least seen by the owner on Friday, Dec. 5. Police believe that the suspect is a white woman in her early 30s.
In addition, the owner reported that a cell phone and credit card were inside the vehicle. The credit card has since been used at several locations around the town of Corner Brook.
The stolen vehicle is a red 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck, Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate # CF7306. The truck also has a vanity plate in the shape of a polar bear attached to the front bumper.
