The Newfoundland Growlers suffered a loss at the Mary Brown’s Centre last night.

The Growlers lost to the South Carolina Stingrays by a score of 8 to 2.

In the first period, the Stingrays came out swinging scoring three goals. In the second, the Stingrays struck again with four goals while the Growlers managed to score twice. The Stingrays continued their lead in period three scoring another goal and took the game.

Tate Singleton and Jarid Lukosevicius scored for the Growlers.
