A 39-year-old male has been arrested after making several false calls to 911.

Sunday evening the RNC responded to multiple calls for services at a residence in the downtown area of St. John’s.

The calls were excessive, false and frivolous.

The man now faces charges of mischief and breaching the 911 Act, the male was held for court.
