From Monday to Friday this week, on-site emergency services are being supported through a Virtual ER physician at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre in Harbour Breton.

This is due to human resource challenges. This change takes effect from today until Friday, April 12 at 8:00 a.m.

When a Virtual ER is operating, residents can proceed to the ER at Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre as usual. There will be a health-care professional onsite, as well as a physician or nurse practitioner by video.
