Snow and snow squalls will be ongoing in the west today, and begin to ease elsewhere
Snow, snow squalls and high winds continue to affect much of the Province this morning. The latest radar imagery shows we’ve still got lines of squalls on the go across western, southern and eastern Newfoundland. Snow squalls hamper traffic, delay school dismissals in Corner Brook
Snow squalls and high winds battered much of the province on Thursday. On the west coast, it meant areas of the Trans-Canada were reduced to one lane, and students were delayed from going home in the storm. N.L. Schools says school buses were eventually able to run and all students got home.

Stormy conditions continue across much of the Province into Friday
Snow flurries and squalls will continue on the Island through Friday. The most intense squalls will be found on the West Coast, South Coast, Burin and Avalon Peninsulas.
