CUPE NL focusing on municipal politics for upcoming fall election
The Canadian Union of Public Employees is going to be more involved in municipal politics for the coming fall election. According to the new president they’ll be focusing on two of the province’s large communities. NTV’s Colleen Lewis has the story.

John Hogan will be sworn in as the 15th Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador today at 10:00 a.m. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Government House. At the same time, a cabinet swearing-in ceremony will also take place. Hogan will be available for questions after the cabinet swearing-in ceremony.
