Corner Brook budget reduces mil rate, but raises water tax

The city of Corner Brook released its budget last night, dropping the mil rate for residential property owners. That will mean an average savings of 75 dollars a home, but as NTV’s Don Bradshaw tells us, most of that money will go back to the city to cover higher water treatment costs.
