Latest storm prompts schools on the Avalon to close early today
Schools in the St. John’s metro region will close two hours early this afternoon due to the forecasted weather and anticipated reduced visibility. A system that battered the eastern seaboard and the maritimes is headed for this province later this morning. Up to 25cm’s could fall before it passes on.
