Saturday starts dry, doesn’t end as such
The timing of today’s rain can be seen by looking at the Futurecastm, which is the video attached to this post.
An area of low pressure approaching from the south is going to spread rain across much of the Island later this afternoon. The rain will become more widespread and heavy at times across most of the Island overnight. The rain will end from southwest to northeast late Sunday night or early Sunday morning. Showers may linger for some areas of the Island into midday Sunday.
Sunday will also be a cooler day compared to the last few with highs in the teens for most. There will be a big warmup next week, so stay tuned for updates on that.
