Inside Story: Health Minister calls west-end hospital proposed by former Liberal government ‘out of touch’

On Wednesday the provincial government cancelled plans for a new hospital in the west end of St. John’s.  Health Minister Lela Evans says the hospital, which was put forward by the former Liberal government, would have cost more than the entire provincial budget and was out of touch with the needs of the healthcare system.
