News

Evacuation orders in the Town of Badger due to flooding have expanded to include several more homes in the community. A state-of-emergency was declared on Wednesday evening, now residents on Main Street, Park Street, River Road, and several others, are being told to evacuate their homes, and to register at the Badger Community Centre.

The town council says the Badger Fire Department and RCMP patrolled streets last night, as officials monitored water levels. Residents are being told to monitor the provincial government’s social media channels, or website for the latest information.

NTV’s Colleen Lewis is covering the story and will have more at 5:30 and 6.
