Wet roads across the Island and snow-covered roads in Labrador

Roads across Newfoundland are bare and wet with water build-up in some areas. Visibility is generally good.

Roads across Labrador are snow-covered with icy and slushy patches. Visibility is poor from Intersection Route 514 to Pinsent’s Arm, Port Hope Simpson to Lodge Bay, and Intersection Route 510 to St. Lewis.

Due to adverse weather conditions, Marine Atlantic has cancelled crossings for this morning and anticipates cancellations to crossings scheduled for tonight and Tuesday.

Due to severe weather, the MV Flanders, MV Beaumont Hamel, MV Gallipoli, MV Marine Voyager, and MV Challenge One are out of service.

At the St. John’s International Airport, Air Canada flights 1520 and 1523 are delayed and WestJet Flight 1049 is delayed. In Deer Lake, Provincial Airlines Flight 902 is delayed.
