Newfoundland settles in to calmer conditions Thursday after mid-week rain
A lot of the island is going to enjoy sun and cloud on Thursday, with daytime highs ranging from the high teens to low twenties.
Once the Avalon passes a brief encounter with another passing low-pressure system, it’s off to the races for that day of sun.
Meanwhile, Central, the West and South Coast and in parts the Northern Peninsula will likely experience partly cloudy conditions. The trade off is those clouds hold some scattered showers. Those pick up in likelihood through out the afternoon.

There are moments of sun in between for most regions. The south coast looks to enjoy the most time spent under the sun while Labrador West will be limited, with extra cloud and cooler north wets wind.
