The federal government is facing backlash for the way it handled cuts to Marine Atlantic ferry rates this week. Ferry traffic to the province is booked solid with tourism at its peak. Many users are happy with a discount coming into effect for passengers coming into effect Aug. 1, but the trucking industry says Ottawa missed the boat. NTV’s Jodi Cooke reports.
