RCMP have advised the Trans-Canada Highway at Arnold’s Cove has reopened to traffic, but police warn to drive with caution as the road is still slippery in areas.

The highway was closed to traffic in both directions due to a motor vehicle accident. Police were called to the scene before 4 p.m. Sunday and closed the highway while responding. The highway remained closed into the supper hour and motorists were advised to take an alternate route if possible.
