Roads across the Island are mostly bare with a few icy sections. On the Trans-Canada Highway from Gander to Notre Dame Junction, roads are partly snow-covered. Roads north of that area are also partly snow-covered. In the St. Anthony and Bird Cove area, roads are partly snow-covered and snow-packed.

In Labrador, roads are snow-covered from Happy Valley-Goose Bay to the Quebec border and in southeastern areas.

The MV Qajaq W is in service but off schedule, it is holding at St. Barbe due to high winds and will depart at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting.

At the St. John’s International Airport, Porter flight 230 to Toronto is delayed. Provincial Airlines flight 901 is late to the Deer Lake Regional Airport. All other flights are on time.
