On Tuesday afternoon the RNC responded to the area of Empire Avenue in St. John’s for a wanted person.

Police descended on the area looking for the male suspect. The suspect eventually walked to a police unit on his own accord and surrendered.

The 36-year-old was arrested on several outstanding warrants and taken to the St. John’s lockup. He was also charged with failing to attend court and breaching his probation order.
