Roads are wet on the Avalon Peninsula, Burin Peninsula, and most of the west coast. Vehicle takes out light pole in Mount Pearl

A vehicle took out a light pole in Mount Pearl overnight on Commonwealth Avenue between Sunrise Avenue and Edinburgh Drive.  The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival. As a result, there are 1,652 customers in parts of Mount Pearl without power. Newfoundland Power expected the power to be restored by 6:30 a.m.

Grade Reconfiguration Proposed for Prince of Wales Collegiate School System
