Minister Ien visiting St. John’s today
Today, Federal Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth Marci Ien will be in St. John’s to announce support for 2SLGBTQI+ organizations in Atlantic Canada and to commemorate the second anniversary of the Federal 2SLGBTI+ Action Plan.
The event will take place at 10:15 a.m.
Over the past two years, the federal government has dedicated $75 million in funding to organizations that provide support to the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
