Police in St. John’s responded to a complaint of a man inside a George Street bar with a firearm on Saturday night. Officers quickly entered the business and located the male suspect.

As a result police arrested and charged a 24 year old man with seven firearms related offences, and seized a fire arm with ammunition. The man was taken to city lockup to await court, no injuries were reported.
