On Wednesday evening the RNC in St. John’s observed a wanted 21-year-old female walking in the downtown area.

Police attempted to arrest the female, but she began fighting. Officers deployed pepper spray in an attempt to take the female into custody.

As a result of the interaction with police, she now faces additional charges of resisting arrest and breaching court orders.

She was transported to the lock-up for court in the morning.
