Police say they have cleared the scene in Harbour Grace and residents can resume normal activities.

The RCMP had asked residents in the area of Gardner Place to remain inside their homes while responding to an incident. Firefighters were redirecting traffic while police were at a residence on Gardner Place.

The RCMP now say there is no current risk to public safety.
