Truck carrying potentially explosive material catches fire on Baie d’Espoir Highway

The RCMP responded to a tractor-trailer fire on Route 360, Baie d’Espoir Highway, at Pool’s Cove Junction. The truck was carrying potentially explosive contents. For several hours the highway was closed. By about 9:00 p.m. one lane of traffic was open. Traffic was slow moving.
