NL Health Services said some services will be transferred to the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander starting today.

Some pediatrics and gynecology patients will be relocated to the site in Gander.

The health authority is working toward finalizing a date to begin labour and delivery services. The required renovations to reopen the obstetrics unit have been completed and several new professionals are in place.
