World Series shifts to Los Angeles as teams prepare for pivotal Game 3
After two action-packed games at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, the World Series now shifts south of the Border for Game 3 tonight in Los Angeles.
The Toronto Blue Jays opened the best-of-seven final with a 11-4 win, led by a grand slam home run from Addison Barger in front of a loud, proud hometown crowd in Toronto. The Los Angeles Dodgers silenced the Jays in Game 2, cruising to a 5-1 win.
Tonight’s matchup, which goes 9:30 p.m. Newfoundland time, features veteran Max Scherzer for the Jays and Tyler Glasnow for the Dodgers.
A number of people from the province travelled to Toronto for the opening games of the series, and NTV News has learned that some others are making the trip to L.A. for Game 3.
