SUV strikes home following collision in Mount Pearl
A two-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl Saturday night saw one of the vehicles involved come to rest after striking a home.
At about 9:15 emergency crews were called to a portion of Ashford Drive. A pickup truck and an SUV had been involved in a collision, following which the SUV crossed the front lawn of a home and struck the corner of a neighbouring house. Paramedics checked the occupants of the vehicles involved. No one required further medical attention.
Accident reconstructionists with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were also summoned to investigate.
A portion of Ashford Drive was closed through the late evening.
