Southern Newfoundland cod stocks remain in critical zone
There’s more bad news for the inshore fishery in an area that has long been flagged as facing stock troubles.
Today, DFO released its Atlantic cod stock assessment for the southern island coastal area of 3Ps.
It remains in the critical zone, with stock sizes smaller than scientists previously thought.
