Province waiting on funding from Ottawa to build new housing units in Corner Brook
The provincial government says it’s ready to move ahead with plans to build a new collection of low-income housing units in Corner Brook, but the project is on hold indefinitely due to a lack of funding.
But, as NTV’s Don Bradshaw tells us, while the province says it has its money for the project in place, the same can’t be said for a proposed funding partner.
