Police nab thief while loading goods into a cab
On Oct. 12, just after 1:30 p.m., police officers responded to a theft in progress at a west end business in St. John’s. When police arrived on scene, they observed the 38-year-old female suspect loading her stolen items into a cab.
Police quickly arrested the female for shoplifting. Officers then escorted her to the lock-up where she will appear for charges of theft and breaching multiple court orders.
