Police investigating apparent centre-city shooting
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating after an apparent shooting in the centre of St. John’s overnight
Shortly after the province ushered in the new year, police and paramedics were called to Buckmaster’s Circle, descending on an open field. While at the time there was no statement from police, NTV News learned from area residents that at least one person was taken to hospital with injuries resulting from use of a firearm.
RNC officers were seen photographing a small area of the field, and collecting evidence.
