Patients to check appointment letters before move to New Ambulatory Health Hub

Patients and clients with outpatient health appointments in St. John’s are being asked to review their appointment letters to confirm the location of their upcoming visits at Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services sites.
Appointments that are scheduled on or after October 21 may take place at the new ambulatory health hub located at 28 Stavanger Drive rather than at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital or the Health Sciences Centre.
Starting on October 21, services such as the total joint assessment clinic/bariatric optimization clinic, eye clinic, plastic surgery outpatient clinic, endocrine clinic, thrombosis, cardiac diagnostics, X-ray, orthopedics, and audiology will operate from the new site.
In December, blood collection, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, ultrasound, the surgery preadmission clinic, and pain clinic will begin to provide services from the site.
As well, an MRI service is scheduled to open at the ambulatory health hub in 2026. Free parking is available for patients and staff.
Some outpatient services will remain at the Health Sciences Centre and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
