Nain man charged with breaching court-ordered conditions
Nain RCMP say a 40-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday morning after officers responded to a disturbance at a home.
Police say they were called to a residence on Middle Path in Nain shortly before 3:30 a.m. on April 8 for a reported altercation. When officers arrived, they removed a man from the home at the request of those inside.
RCMP say the man, identified as Amos Suarak, was also found to be in violation of a court-ordered curfew related to a previous matter.
He was arrested and charged with one count of failing to comply with a release order.
Suarak appeared in provincial court on April 9 and was remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for May.
