Mostly dry roads across the province
Roads are mostly dry this morning with a few wet areas in eastern Newfoundland and dry elsewhere. There is some fog on the southwest coast.
Due to mechanical issues, the Ala’suinu will be out of service today and Saturday. Due to adverse weather conditions, crossings between North Sydney and Port aux Basques on Saturday and Sunday could be impacted. The MV Kamutik W will remain on a load and go schedule today.
At the St. John’s International Airport, PAL Airlines Flight 901 is delayed. In Deer Lake, Provincial Airlines Flight 901 and Air Canada Flight 1549 are delayed. Flights in Gander are on time.
