Minimum illegal fire fines to increase to $50,000
Within the next 24 hours, the province will be increasing the minimum fine for setting an illegal fire to $50 thousand dollars. As NTV’s Beth Penney tells us, this comes as more communities face evacuation orders, due to raging wildfires.
