Man travels over 5,000 kms for 80th anniversary of the end of the Battle of the Atlantic

This month marked the 80th anniversary of the end of the Battle of the Atlantic, the largest military campaign of the Second World War.

As this province gathered to remember those lost in the conflict, one man in attendance travelled over five thousand kilometers, returning to the place the war ended for his father. NTV’s Marykate O’Neill has more.
