Man arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking in Natuashish
RCMP in Natuashish have arrested 33-year-old Shayne Noggasak on Thursday, January 29, following a report of a residential break and enter, and subsequent seizure of a quantity of suspected cocaine.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a private residence in the community. Officers located the suspect near the home, and arrested him without incident. During a search, the suspect was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected cocaine, and a large sum of cash.
33-year-old Shayne Noggasak has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and being unlawfully in a dwelling. He is also facing an additional charge under the Liquor Control Act.
He was held in custody and appeared in court on Friday, January 30.
