Man accused of double homicide back in court today
A 41-year-old man charged with the murder of two other men in St. John’s is back in court today.
On Dec. 1, the RNC responded to a house on Aldershot Street where officers found two men, ages 38 and 53, dead inside. Working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the deaths were determined to be homicides, with their injuries consistent with stab wounds.
As a result of an investigation by the RNC Major Crime Unit, 41-year-old Matthew Delaney was arrested on Dec. 11, at approximately 6:45 p.m. in the Water Street West area, and charged with two counts of murder.
He’s back in court today and NTV’s court reporter Rosie Mullaley is covering that story.
