Major winter storm expected to hit Avalon Peninsula late Tuesday

Environment Canada has issued a weather alert, forecasting a winter storm that is expected to hit Eastern Newfoundland late Tuesday into Wednesday. It is early but the system is expected to bring in excess of 20 cm of snow with high winds.
ST. JOHN’S/BONAVISTA
