Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove mayor resigns to take position with Premier Wakeham’s office

News, Politics

Just months after being elected Mayor of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove, Bradley Power has announced he is resigning his post and talking a high-profile position with the provincial government.

A former director of programs with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador, Power recently confirmed on social media that he has been hired as Director of Communications for the newly-elected Progressive Conservatives.

Power says he is stepping away from the mayor’s chair, effective Dec. 31. With two decades of experience with municipal and provincial governments in management, media relations, communications and marketing, Power says his new role will now have him working directly with Premier Tony Wakeham’s office.
