Health services impacted by adverse weather

NL Health Services advises the public of the following service changes due to adverse weather today (Monday, Jan. 5): 

  •  
  • – The community walk-in clinic located at 50 Mundy Pond Road in St. John’s is closed until 12:00 p.m. with a further update to come.
  • – In-person Doorways services in Eastern-Urban zone are unavailable for the day and will be offered virtually. Please visit https://mha.easternhealth.ca/doorways/ to find a list of contact information.

NL Health Services encourages patients and clients travelling long distances to check with their health-care provider’s office to confirm that their appointment is going ahead, as delays may occur.

In case of emergencyPatients with a medical emergency who require an ambulance should call 911. Those who feel they have a serious or urgent medical problem should proceed to the nearest open emergency.
