First baby of 2026 in N.L. born in Grand Falls-Windsor
The first baby of the New Year in Newfoundland and Labrador was born in Grand Falls-Windsor after midnight on Jan. 1.
“Baby Noble was the first baby born at a NL Health Services facility in 2026, arriving at 12:45 a.m. on January 1 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Heath Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor,” N.L. Health Services posted on Facebook.
“Congratulations to the parents on this very special New Year’s arrival! We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the medical team who helped bring Baby Noble into the world.”
