Part of Kenmount Road closed as crews battle house fire
Firefighters are currently on the scene of a house fire off Kenmount Road in St. John’s. A number of firefighting crews are at the scene.
The RNC has closed Kenmount Road in both directions between Kelsey Drive and Pippy Place. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route and avoid the area. Police ask motorists to have patience and follow the direction of officers on scene.
NTV News has learned that additional resources have been called in to help. It comes at a challenging time with high temperatures and breezy winds today, and its proximity to a busy commercial and residential area.
