Captain Canada still a hero nearly 50 Years later
Nearly 50 years after Captain Canada first appeared in the Captain Newfoundland comic strip in 1979, the homegrown superhero continues to capture the imagination of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. That enduring popularity was on full display on Canada Day.
