Bay d’Espoir RCMP seizes vehicle, issues multiple tickets after traffic stop
After responding to a report of a erratic driver Monday afternoon, Bay d’Espoir RCMP impounded the vehicle of 27-year-old woman found operating without a valid licence, registration or insurance.
On Dec. 22 around 3:00 p.m., police received a call from a concerned member of public about a car being driving in an erratic manner, headed southbound on Route 360. Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver — a 27-year-old woman — was discovered to be operating with an expired driver’s licence. In addition, the vehicle she was driving was not registered and did not have insurance. Summary offence tickets were issued under the Highway Traffic Act, and the vehicle was seized and impounded by police.
