Air & sea travel slowly getting back online after severe storm conditions
It was a harrowing night in many parts of the province with extreme winds downing power, causing property damage and bringing air and maritime travel island wide to a virtual standstill. Flights at most airports are slowly getting back to schedule throughout the day with most carriers posting resumed schedules by this afternoon. Marine Atlantic has reconfigured some of it’s scheduling to make up for lost time. There are three scheduled sailings to depart North Sydney for Port Aux Basques throughout today.
