70-year-old man faces impaired driving charges after refusing breath test
A 70-year-old man is facing multiple charges after being stopped by police near the Village Mall overnight.
Officers pulled over the vehicle during a routine patrol shortly after midnight. Police say the driver showed signs of alcohol impairment and was arrested.
The man was taken to police station for breath testing but refused to cooperate. He’s been charged with refusing to provide a breath sample, impaired driving and resisting arrest.
He was scheduled to appear in court this morning.
