Singer-songwriter Will Carter will make his international television debut this weekend when he auditions in New York City on American Idol. The 24-year-old St. John’s native was asked by producers to take part in the show after they spotted his talent online. Carter is the first Newfoundlander to appear on the American version of the Pop Idol franchise.
