Caribou are on the move on the Northern Peninsula.
Motorists are advised to use caution on the roadway between Eddies Cove East and St. Anthony Airport.
A large portion of the St. Anthony caribou herd has overwintered in the area.
The herd’s daily movements are increasing as caribou trek from winter to spring ranges, requiring them to cross roadways and making them vulnerable to traffic.
