Just before 11:00 p.m. last night the RNC responded to a call for assistance to the Janeway Hospital in St John’s.
A female youth had showed up with serious injuries including puncture wounds to her body.
After conducting an investigation, a 19-year-old male was arrested in CBS and taken to the lockup.
The male is facing several charges including assault causing bodily harm.
