Just before midnight last night the RNC responded to a motor vehicle accident in the west end of St. John’s.

The 43-year-old male driver exited the vehicle and entered a nearby wooded area. The police K9 unit was called and located the male a short time later.

The accused was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and his vehicle was impounded. The man was released to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
